Welcome to the Belle Isle Motel website. The Belle Isle is centrally located on Mt Desert Island only minutes away from many activities and points of interest.
The Belle Isle has been part of the Acadia landscape since the 1950's. It's history includes only five owners, unusual for a motel of this size but creating a continuity of service over the years. Darren and Camille Taylor are proud to be the 5th owners of the Belle Isle Motel. We look forward to seeing our repeat customers and enjoy meeting new guests!
Facilities
Our Double and King rooms have private baths, two with 4 foot showers, the rest with bathtub/showers. Our Queen rooms also have private baths with showers only. Every room has individually controlled heat, A/C, color cable TV, in room phones with free local and 800# calling and in room coffee to get your day started. There are refrigerators in all our rooms and wireless internet is also available.
Accommodations
We offer two size rooms to our guests. Our moderate size room has two double beds or one king size bed. Our smaller economical rooms have one queen size bed.
Surroundings
On our 6 acre grounds you will find a furnace heated swimming pool, children's play area,BBQ grill/picnic areas, hammocks, guest laundry and ice machine.
